at the time of reservation is only to help you get
a professional service. Your information is shared
only with the hotel you want to book in to. This
information will, under no circumstances, be shared
with any third party, except in the unlikely event
of the law of the country obliging disclosure.
Your contact address and number
are necessary to make your hotel reservation. The
respective hotels need this information in order
to identify you when you arrive there and also to
contact you in case there is a change in reservation
or if they need to inform you regarding an emergency.
BOOKINGS observes strict security
procedures in adherence to European personal data
protection laws to prevent misuse of or unauthorized
access to personal data.
Credit Card information
Your Credit Card information is
necessary to guarantee your booking. It will not
be charged at the time of reservation. All payments
are to be made at the hotel itself.
The latest, most protected standard
industry technology, viz., "Secure Socket Layer"
(SSL) is used in order to encrypt all your personal
as well as credit card details. One of the most
established Certification Authorities worldwide
- Thawte has issued the SSL certificate. All information
pertaining to your Credit Card reaches BOOKINGS
through a secure server protected by firewalls against
unauthorized access. All these make every transaction
made guaranteed to be 100% safe.
Nonetheless, if by any chance
a proven misuse or abuse of your credit card happens
BOOKINGS will reimburse the first 50 Euros. The
concerned credit card company shall reimburse the
rest.
Your credit card details will remain with BOOKINGS
until your date of arrival at the hotel. After this
date all the information will be automatically destroyed.
Control over your data
You have complete control over
your personal data stored with BOOKINGS and can
at any time exercise your right to review the same.
Please mention “request personal data”
in the subject line of the mail. Changes in personal
data can be made on request. Your personal data
can be removed from its database as well. The procedure
of removal is as simple as sending an e-mail to
that effect to the same address.
When does BOOKINGS send
you emails?
BOOKINGS sends you a confirmation
e-mail message right after you have asked for a
booking. This confirmation mail contains all the
details regarding your requested hotel booking.
This mail must be regarded as an official guarantee
of your reservation.
n some cases BOOKINGS sends e-mails
asking for your feedback after your stay at a particular
hotel. You may choose to remove your name from this
feedback mailer list if you wish.
While requesting for a reservation
you may subscribe to the free newsletter containing
special offers and other information about BOOKINGS.
